Stuff We Dig This Week

Our Top 5

GEICO – ‘Crushed ‘
WHAT: The best pre-roll campaign since Geico’s last pre-roll campaign.
WHY: Geico are the undisputed kings of pre-roll ads and their latest offering is no different: funny, short, & effective – if insurance ever stops being profitable, they should just take over the advertising industry.

AUNTY DONNA – ‘What Did You Do Last Night?’
WHAT: Australia’s favourite silly boys doing their ‘little comedy plays’.
WHY WE DIG IT: Aunty Donna’s ability to keep pumping out relevant, entertaining, and most importantly hilarious content, is second to none on the Australian comedy scene right now. ‘What Did You Do Last Night?’ shows them back in their element sending up the rampant alcoholism our nation collectively passes off as sun-soaked summer fun.

TATSUYA TANKA – ‘Miniature Calendar’
WHAT: Mind-blowing miniatures of everyday scenes transposed to other-worldly scenarios.
WHY WE DIG IT: The intricacy, creativity, and attention to detail in Tatsuya Tanaka’s work is simply astounding. On top of that, he does a new scene each and every day – miniaturised madness.

PIAGGIO – ‘Gita’
WHAT: The robot revolution is nigh!
WHY WE DIG IT: It’s only a matter of time before we’re all replaced by benevolent faceless AI so we may as well get some convenience out of it while we’re still technically the ‘masters’.

REAL TIME WITH BILL MAHER – ‘The Lesser of Two Evils’
WHAT: Jim Jeffries telling Piers Morgan to fuck off.
WHY: Jim Jeffries telling Piers Morgan to fuck off.
